President of AT&T Global Networking Technology Services, Hossein Eslambolchi says AT&T is answering the call for help by helping to restore crucial communications. Mr. Eslambolchi what is AT&T doing to help?

CUT: (Eslambolchi) To be able to help the relief effort. We had to restore crucial communications in devastated areas by dispatching several emergency communications satellite units. We’ve been working Avaya, Cisco, and SBC to establish a communications network for refugees at the Astrodome. Providing a little more than a thousand phone lines as well as data infrastructure. We’ve also been working with FEMA to establish IP based calling centers, to provide free local and long distance.
