Author Ted Rogers gives us these five points to ponder and ways to improve your health:
He is the author of "Fit and Fast Foods."
1. Drink more water (take your weight in pounds (US) and divide by 2. Drink that number of ounces of water each day)
2. Take deep breaths more often. (he says "We are a nation of shallow, gulping breathers.")
3. "Colorize don't supersize" -- add more colorful food to your diet. The average color of the American diet is white to beige. Look at your plate and add more colorful things to it, at least one at each meal.
4. Activate your lifestyle - become more active in your daily life. Stand up when the telephone rings, then answer it. Park five spaces further away in the parking lot than you normally would. Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
5. Pursue inner peace. -- Relax, take it easy, don't worry as much, let go of things that are bothering you.
Here are some recipe sources. Pick a recipe and make it. The computer will still be here when you get back.
